For sale: 1956 jeep cj5 4x4 from the dry state ,lots of work done recently. fiberglass shell and rust free, body is laser straight and paint is awesome , Its an awesome jeep with lots of man hours put into it . You would not believe how nice this jeep is Exterior: orange , which paint job is like new. . This Jeep is- really an astonishing 4x4. . windshield does have a crack , Grille and trim have no major damage. Front bumper is nice . Inside back of jeep is in good condition as shown , I also have a rear seat if you would like that just let me know. Interior: Brand new seats , All gauges brand new and working, heater, wipers, all work. Lights and turn signals work. . Dash is in nice shape. Brand new soft top and doors , Will be included with this sale Mechanical: Starts, runs, drives and stops fine. Mildly built 302 V8 runs well and there's no noises or smoke, and oil pressure is fine. Doesn't over heat. Trans shifts fine and I tested 4x4 and transfer case in all. Throwout bearing is on its way out but jeep is fine and driveable the way it is . there is no power steering or brakes or A/C, , so adjust your expectations accordingly. They are not comfortable . There is one noticeable engine oil leak that will leave a stain on the floor, mechanic thinks it's the cork gasket at the back of the intake manifold and that will need replacement at some point . tires in ok shape , with around half life left . Remember, all old vehicles need some work and there are always items to tinker with on them. This Jeep is very nice so keep that in mind.
