For sale is my fully built greddy turbo 2004 RX-8 with a stage 3 ported Renesis 4 port rotary motor. Its the GT model with the 6 speed MT. Looks and sounds great turbo screams BOV is loud and very quick and nimble, hugs the road tightly Bought it just how it is now have done NOTHING but had it tuned. So i brought it back home, took it to the shop to have it tuned by cobb which was not an easy process i ended up paying 1000$ to have them attempt to tune it and it still wasnt running right. The problem comes after youve been driving it for awhile the air/fuel ratio isnt right and when you come to a stop itll sometimes stall out. It starts right back up but the engine isnt getting enough fuel at times. Ive been told that bigger injectors would work but i dont have the money anymore to work on it. So its just been sitting. I also contacted the shop that built it and was told that the owner prior to me refused to put the computer in it that would correct this problem completely. I have talked to him a few times he remembers the car and the build. He is very confident that it would clear it up altogether so that is a guaranteed fix. But, unfortunately, I dont have the money for that either. I paid 12k for the car and put 1000 into it. With the miles it has its still bluebooks at 11000. The build alone cost around 10k The interior and exterior are both in great condition no major dents or scratches. Only thing i can find in the interior is a crack in the dash. Other minor things youd normally expect on a 2004 but very minimal. Bottom line is that the person who had it before me knew that it needed more work than he told me so I got taken, but knowing what itll need you can realistically have a very fast, highly modified car, for a fraction of the price. The video is just on a little street couldnt get on it very much at all, but you get the picture.
